We are part of a fun summer outing group with a bunch of our friends and this past week we got to go experience the Lichterman nature center. We went on some fun little mini hikes around the grounds and the kids enjoyed looking at the various wildlife they had! It was super hot and humid, but thankfully they had a few air conditioned buildings! And our timing was perfect! It started to rain just as we left!
I left the room for a moment today to get something and when I returned I found this little monkey standing on the table. Guess he takes after his brother!
Lainey got a new hair cut, thanks to her daddy cutting a nice chunk out of her hair! Let it be known I made it through four kids with no scissor/hair incidents! (love you sweetie!)
Mr. Harris had tubes put in his ears today. He was a champ throughout the whole process! He was definitely mad when he came out of the anesthesia, but after a nice long nap he was back to his sweet self! You would never know that only 13 hours ago he was having that procedure done. We hope these tubes work as will for him as they did for Mr. Lennon! This picture is after our busy day today, post procedure! All smiles!
Leecy T had her field day today and I was lucky enough to get to help out. The kids had a blast, the weather was beautiful and as always it was fun to spend time with my sweet first born, who is growing up way to fast!
We are so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ and His ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy these beautiful kids FOREVER! Happy Easter!
A HUGE storm hit last night. We had tornado sirens going off for about 3 hours and power was out for about half the night (we were some of the lucky ones! Aleece's school was without power til this afternoon! She still had school though.) This huge tree on the road behind our house was covering most of the street this morning! It's several feet in diameter and represents a very small portion of the devastation from last night's storm!
